Mother’s Day is now becoming one of the busiest times of the year in the world of hospitality, with results revealing it is the sixth most popular holiday occasion for families to go to a restaurant, pub or bar and celebrate the special occasion.
With 44 per cent of people opting to dine out instead of buying a present for their mum on Mother’s Day, there can be high expectations on finding the best location to treat mum on the 6th March. In many cases though, with high expectation often comes hassle and ultimately stress.
But don’t panic! To help remove the stresses that can be associated with finding the perfect place to celebrate Mother’s Day, we’ve taken our Tube Map and added in some suggestions to help you find the ideal solution.
The map includes what we think are some of the best places to enjoy a Sunday lunch, afternoon tea, or an evening meal around Zone 1 of the London Underground. We’ve based our ideas on the highest reviews, a variation of different types of cuisine and how convenient the restaurants are to get to from each London Tube station. We’ve also added some Mother’s Day ‘hot spots’ – highlighted by the biggest flowers on the map – showing the destinations with more choice and selection for all.
Whatever you get up to this Mothering Sunday we hope you enjoy your day and don’t forget to remove any unnecessary stresses, check Tube Map’s travel information if you do head into the city centre!
