National rail services to Gatwick and Brighton
On Sunday 13 July, national rail services will be disrupted between London Bridge and Gatwick Airport, Brighton and Sussex stations, with no service between East Croydon and Gatwick Airport. If you plan to travel on this route, be aware that your journey will take considerably longer than usual. This is due to urgent engineering work between East Croydon and Gatwick Airport. Central line
Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 July
No service between Leytonstone and Epping/Woodford (via Hainault), including during Friday and Saturday Night Tube- Use local or rail replacement bus routes. This is due to planned engineering works.
Monday 14 July
The 06:53 train from Grange Hill to West Ruislip will not run- This is the train that departs Chigwell at 06:55, Roding Valley at 06:59 and Woodford at 07:02. This is due to the planned engineering works taking place on Saturday and Sunday.
Mildmay line
Sunday 13 July
No service between Willesden Junction and Richmond- Use Tube services or local bus routes. Rail replacement buses will run between Gunnersbury and Willesden Junction. This is due to Network Rail maintenance work.
DLR
Until spring 2026
Cutty Sark station is closed
- Use nearby Greenwich station for DLR and national rail services, or local bus routes.
- Greenwich station is an 11-minute walk away via Greenwich Church Street and Greenwich High Road, or customers can use local bus route 199. Greenwich Pier is also a five-minute walk away from Cutty Sark station, for access to river services.
Weaver line
Thursday 10 July
No service between Hackney Downs and Enfield Town/Cheshunt after 22:45 each night
- Use Tube services or local bus routes.
- Rail replacement buses will run between Seven Sisters and Enfield Town/Cheshunt.
- On Wednesday only, the 22:45 train from Liverpool Street to Cheshunt will not run and the last train will be at 22:15.
Windrush
Sunday 13 July
No service between Sydenham and Crystal Palace- Use local bus routes between Anerley and Crystal Palace.
Monday 14 until Thursday 17 July
No service between Sydenham and West Croydon after 22:15 each night- Use local bus routes or Southern Railway services between Sydenham and Norwood Junction.
London Trams
Sunday 13 July
No service to/from Elmers End, or between East Croydon and New Addington after 22:00- Use local bus routes.
Monday 14 until Tuesday 22 July
No service to/from Elmers End, or between Reeves Corner and East Croydon- Use local bus routes.

Central London- From 17:00 until approximately 18:00, Parliament Square will be closed for a political event.
Friday 11 and Sunday 13 July
Oval Cricket Ground- From 17:30 until 21:30 on Friday, a cricket match will take place at Oval Cricket Ground, with start of play at 18:30. From 10:00 until 18:30 on Sunday, two cricket matches will take place with start of play at 11:00 and 15:30. Large crowds and increased traffic levels are expected before and after each match.
Saturday 12 July
Euston- From 07:00 until 21:30, Chalton Street will be closed to vehicle traffic, but buses will not be impacted. This for a street festival. Large crowds are expected.
- From 08:00 until 14:00, the following roads will be closed in the Whitehall area: King Charles Street, Whitehall, Parliament Street, Horseguards Road, Birdcage Walk, Bridge Street (right turn bus lane only), Horseguards Avenue, Whitehall Court, Spur Road, Marlborough Road, The Mall and Constitution Hill. This is for a parade. Large crowds are expected.
- From 12:00 until 14:00, a wreath laying service will take place at the Cenotaph but there will be no road closures. Large crowds are expected.
- From 13:00 until 22:00, Clifton Street will be closed for a street festival. Large crowds are expected.
Sunday 13 July
Central London- From 09:30 until 14:00, a 10k run will take place in central London from Piccadilly to Whitehall via Regent Street, Trafalgar Square, Victoria Embankment and Westminster Bridge. Extensive road closures and bus diversions are in place along the event route. Large crowds are expected.
- From 12:00 until 19:00, a chess festival will take place at Trafalgar Square. Large crowds are expected.
- From 13:45 until 17:00, a march will take place from Northumberland Avenue to Parliament Square via Victoria Embankment and Westminster Bridge. Large crowds are expected.
Sunday 13 until Friday 25 July
A3 Clapham High Street/Clapham Road- From 21:00 to 05:00 each Sunday to Thursday night from Sunday 13 until Friday 25 July, the A3 Clapham High Street will be closed between Clapham Park Road and Stockwell Road.
- Where possible, drivers should travel via Brixton Road and Brixton Hill during these closures. Signed diversions will be in place for journeys in the local area.
- During the overnight closures, bus routes 88, 155, 322, 345 and N155 will be on diversion, with routes 50 and P5 also diverted from Wednesday 23 until Friday 25 July.
- Plan ahead, allow more time for your journey and check before you travel. This is due to resurfacing works.
Friday 25 July until mid-December
Lambeth Bridge- From 21:00 on Friday 25 until 05:00 on Monday 28 July, Lambeth Bridge will be closed to all motorised vehicles and cyclists in both directions.
- From Monday 28 July until mid-December, Lambeth Bridge will be closed eastbound (towards Lambeth). Segregated cycle lanes will be in place and westbound traffic (towards Westminster) will be unaffected. Cyclists travelling from Lambeth to Westminster will be in the traffic lane across the bridge. Cyclists travelling from Westminster to Lambeth will use the newly constructed cycleway.
- For journeys towards Lambeth, bus routes 3, N3 and C10 will be diverted via Vauxhall Bridge and Westminster Bridge. Bus routes 77, 87, 344 and N87 will be affected by increased levels of traffic near Lambeth Bridge. Journeys on these routes may take longer than usual.
- Pedestrians will still be able to use the bridge to cross the river.
- Use alternative river crossings. This is part of improvement works to replace the unsignalised roundabouts at either end of Lambeth Bridge with signal-controlled junctions.
Until September
Gallows Corner
- Gallows Corner junction will be fully closed to all vehicle traffic, except emergency services, black cabs and TfL buses, while works are undertaken to renew and strengthen the flyover.
- Roads in the local area and in the wider vicinity are expected to be very busy. Disruption to vehicular journeys should be expected for the duration of the closure.
- For longer distance journeys that are non-stopping in the Gallows Corner area, use the M25 for the M11 or A13 to complete your journey.
Santander Cycles
The following docking stations will be closed this weekend:
