  • National Rail Strikes are planned on Saturday 01st, Wednesday 05th & Saturday 08th October
  • Most TfL services will continue to run
  • There will be some disruption to London Overground, Tube and Elizabeth line services.
  • Disruption to services will continue into the following morning.
  • Saturday 01st and Sunday 02nd there are no services on the Piccadilly line between Acton Town and Heathrow due to planned works. Rail replacement bus services will run.
  • If you are travelling to the TCS London Marathon on Sunday 02nd, check with the event organiser and plan your journey in advance
  • The bus strike on Arriva services planned from Tuesday 04th October has been suspended. Services will run as usual.

Saturday 01st October

London Overground

  • Night Overground for Friday 30th September ends around 04:00 on Saturday 01st October
  • No service on the entire London Overground network from around 04:00

Tube

Bakerloo
  • Limited services between Queens Park and Harrow & Wealdstone between 08:00 and 18:00
District
  • Limited services running 07:15-18:30 between:
    • Wimbledon and Parson’s Green
    • Richmond and Turnham Green
  • The rest of the line will run as normal
Piccadilly
Due to planned works:
  • Between 0045 and 0430, no Night Tube service between Hammersmith and Heathrow (all terminals)
  • From 04:30: no services between Acton Town and Heathrow
  • Rail replacement buses running

Elizabeth line

West – (Paddington-Reading-Heathrow)
  • Reduced service between Paddington and Reading/Heathrow
  • Trains will only operate between 07:40 and 17:10
  • Two trains per hour each to Reading, Heathrow T4 and Heathrow T5
Central (Paddington-Abbey Wood)
  • Until 17:45: normal service
  • After 17:45: reduced service
East (Liverpool Street-Shenfield)
  • Reduced service – two trains per hour
  • Services only running 07:30-17:30

Sunday 02nd October

  • Services affected by the strike on 01st October will be running a full service by late-morning
  • Planned works on the Piccadilly line – no services between Acton Town and Heathrow
  • If you are travelling to the TCS London Marathon on Sunday 02nd, check with the event organiser and plan your journey in advance

Heathrow Airport

On Saturday 01st and Sunday 02nd October, services to and from Heathrow Airport are affected by the strikes and by planned engineering works on the Piccadilly line.
  • No Piccadilly line to or from the airport on Saturday or Sunday
  • Rail replacement buses running for the Piccadilly line
  • Limited Elizabeth line service before 17:40 on Saturday
  • No Elizabeth line from 17:40 Saturday until 07:00 Sunday

Wednesday 05th October

London Overground

  • No service on the entire London Overground network

Saturday 08th October

Tube

Bakerloo
  • 08:00-18:00: limited service between Queens Park and Harrow & Wealdstone only
District
  • Limited services running 07:15-18:30 between:
    • Wimbledon and Parson’s Green
    • Richmond and Turnham Green
  • The rest of the line will run as normal
