Today we are announcing an exciting new feature to be added to our London transport app – Tube Map. The new feature will play whale music for users as soon as they enter The Underground network.
The new initiative has been designed to help Tube passengers relax on their journeys to and from work.
The mobile application will use location services to understand when its user’s device is underground and instantly play calming whale music.
Our CEO David James said; “The Underground can be very stressful at times, especially on the commute to work. We want our users to feel relaxed as they travel the various lines and therefore have decided to make this new feature available from April 1st. We hope commuters feel a real difference during their journeys.”

Did you spot out April Fool’s joke in The Metro? Unfortunately calming whale music isn’t going to be a new feature but we hope you liked our prank!
